The DVD is fake.

CDs are real.

Yarumi 28th October 2005 04:54 AM

That actually comes with the 'ayumi hamasaki COMPLETE LIVE BOX'

I have the 4 concert set... and the cover of the dvd looks okay... But the actually DVD cover is a fake... mine is holographic with a picture of Ayu in the left part of the CD and the name of the concert on the right...

Plus this actual DVD is not included in the LIVE BOX SET... there was a piece of paper that came with the BOX set... and you had to be a resident of Japan... then fill out the info on the card and send it in and they would send you your 4th and final DVD of the set... The set was supposed to include 4 DVD's but they made the 4th for Japanese resident only... so I got my friend (in Japan) ... actually I mailed her the paper... she filled it out and got the dvd and sent it to me... so now I have it!

I don't think it was released seperately :)

That's definitely fake... ayu's chinese name has never been on the front artwork of any of her dvds (i think it was only on the chinese releases of any cds or releases at all). And the dvd case's spine is on the wrong side relative to the front cover. And Yaru's right, the dvd itself doesn't look like that.

Yaten put pics of the real thing here: http://database.ayu-mi-x.com/DVD/cdl0203.html

The DVD looks like a chinese version perhaps..if not, it's fake.
and the CDs are coming directly from Japan is says, so they shouldn't be fake.

EDIT: all in all, i suggest don't buy anything from Ebay unless you can SEE that is says avex trax on them. [i bought 2 CD bootlegs, and have seen MANY, if not DOZENS of DVD bootlegs ]
If you are concerned and really want that item, and they sell cheaper than yesasia, i suggest you message the person who put the product up for sale.

It wasn't ever released separately.
Which is a bummer, because when I got the box set it didn't come with it, I just got this slip telling me how to order it, and I'm pretty sure I can't anymore.
Plus, this is a region 0 DVD.

Qt Mashi 28th October 2005 03:54 PM

^ yeah agree~

i already messaged some of the bootleg sellers and told them to stop selling them, but i guess that does nothing :P , just wasnna let them know that they can't fool us all

If you're ever unsure, these sites all have scans of the real things of cds and dvds so you can find out for sure what the REAL thing looks like:

http://www.phoenicia-ra.com/ayumi (well, the booklets anyway)

Well, not exactly a scam per say. They are just making up for the cost of the cd through the postage. This is because the higher an item sells for, you get charged more by ebay. So they are cutting down on this.

The first thng you always do when looking at DVD auctions though is check the region. Hardly any official DVD's are region free.

Delirium-Zer0 29th October 2005 09:04 PM

Oh, the CDs there in that lot look legit. Pretty sure they are; bootlegs are pretty easy to spot. If you're ever unsure, just send a message to the seller asking for the stock number.
