your unreasonable/unexplainable respect on ayu

Dou you have those feelings?

I mean....for some reasons.sometimes..I think that ayu IS EVERYTHING for me..or even worse....she's THE BEST IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD.
When I think of other singers which I'm startin to love (always J-POP now).
I'll eventually back to my BASE again and have the thought "ayu is still far more superior" or else. I'm not maniac but.just have this kind of unreasonable n unexplainable HUGE & BIG RESPECT for a singer like AYUMI HAMASAKI

Wow. I actually understood 100% of one of your posts.

Yeah, sometimes, I have those feelings.

netsuAi 10th December 2005 04:41 PM

when she eventually retires i'd probably 'retire' from the jpop scene too...

I don't think I'll retire, but I sure wont' keep myself as updated as I am now. She's the only artist constantly worth following.

chibi_sunny 10th December 2005 08:53 PM

i didn't like Ayu at first or understood why other people did. I read that one Time magazine interview with her, i saw why she felt about things the way she did, but never agreed with her perspective...she seemed pessimistic.
But now i admire her for what she has accomplished and realizes that she took full of her potential...i also enjoy her music a lot.

dulceku 10th December 2005 09:51 PM

Sometimes I think she's the only can make me smile, only listening to "Replace" (also make me cry! >0<). Yes... Ayu is very special for me. A very important member on my life. I respect her and admire her. She's a very nice person.

devilayu 10th December 2005 09:55 PM

I like her but I think there are more important things in life than crazily worshipping a celebrity. I'm a realist so although I really do love Ayumi, I'm also able to see and accept she has faults and/or traits that aren't perfect. Same goes for everyone else. There are two sides to every coin so I try not to live in absolutes.

dulceku 10th December 2005 10:17 PM

That's also true. I think some people thinks Ayu is not human! Hey, Ayu of course is human, she can triumph, but also she can fail.

Kikaru 10th December 2005 11:17 PM

I admire Ayu's success and her will to go on. But if she retire, life goes on for me.

Raleigh 10th December 2005 11:38 PM

I admire Ayu a lot. She's one of the few persons I look up to. I will never ever replace her with any other artist simply because.. she's special. I do however admire other people too at a similar level just not musically.

well me liking Ayu alot is kinda unexplainable for me, because once i told everyone that i will taking a break from Ayu for a week and be open to any sort of good music, but the next day i just got so bored and started to listen to Ayu again, no artists has ever kept me interested like Ayu~

mee too~ some people say i listen to Japanese music, but later when i think about it, Ayumi is the only Japanese artist i listen to, actually Ayu is kind athe only artist i listen to...

She´s not the best in my world but I can say that she´s one of them =)=)
I too have those unexplainable feelings for her and it feels really warm when I try to think out what kind of feelings it is but I always end up not getting any answer :P

walking proud 11th December 2005 09:48 AM

There's no such thing as an "unexplainable" respect I think, I believe that she has to have done something to gain your respect even though you may not remember or recall what that was.

I think that her writing her own lyrics and being able to express herself in such a way is a great thing and it's completely respectworthy.

alternarist 11th December 2005 12:43 PM

honestly.. she is my one and only idol.. i dont even listen to K-pop or Mando-pop or english pop.. i ONLY listen to ayu's song...

Apprentice 12th December 2005 08:17 AM

Because she's so adorable! :smitten

Ayumi makes great music, and music is all that matters to me when listening to an artist.

Happii 12th December 2005 04:32 PM

I feel the same way. For me Ayu isn't the most talented singer in the world. She doesn't have an awesome voice. I don't like every song she makes. BUT I've been a fan of her for 5 years and she's still my absolute fav. J-artist. I can't explain this feeling but there's something about her that makes me just ADORE her.

exactly!
I've never been obsessed with a celebrity this much, her awesome look, lyrics and packaging just make her too unique to be replaced. No, i dare say no artist in Japan or Asia could ever replaced her

ohsixthirty 12th December 2005 06:04 PM

i love ayumi, i respect ayumi, she's by far my favorite artist...but no, i don't think she is the best in the world or anything.

Brittany 12th December 2005 06:58 PM

Ayu is a part of my life :yes
I respect her for not being afraid of being 100% true when it comes to lyrics. She is like any other person - she makes mistakes and some people don't think she does. She's like any one of us - human.

LacusClyne 13th December 2005 03:00 AM

what grown me to ayu is her song words, they are so true, not like those written for the market songs...ayu wrote for herself but somehow everyone can relate the words to ownself lifes.
i would like to add in that the first time i listen to ayu, there was no chinese nor english lyrics, and i do not understand a single word of it. but, something about the song or the way ayu sing just got me hook. maybe it's because ayu sing with her heart.
