ARENA TOUR 2003/2004 dance

in the encore, she teaches a weird dance and i was wondering what that dance is for. its the one with the hiroite cross hiroite cross in the end. she did it before Trauma i believe.

Delirium-Zer0 24th January 2006 04:15 AM

independent. She first taught it at Stadium Tour 2002 but the teaching didn't make the final cut of the DVD. They may have initially cut it because it was far more complex than the trauma dance and the execs were worried it wouldn't catch on.

oooohhh ok thanks

Neo Daydream 25th January 2006 12:54 AM

Qt Mashi 25th January 2006 08:10 AM

lol i like the Trauma dance better, it's more simple and cute hehe

Delirium-Zer0 25th January 2006 06:42 PM

I actually always liked the independent dance ^_^ It took longer to learn but that almost makes it more fun. :)

JesA 25th January 2006 10:17 PM

i love the Trauma dance a little more....i need to learn the Independent dance

The independent dance is great. If you have little five pound weights in your hands it's a great arm workout too :)

I didn't think the independent dance was harder than trauma... it is cute though!

I love her audience teaching lessons...

isn't it called para para? what is that exactly?

alternarist 26th January 2006 05:06 PM

para para is a dance originated from europe but adopted by the japanese and transformed the dance into something called para para.. basically jus dance TO the music.. i feel that both independent and Trauma dances are difficult. independent is less movements, but very fast pace. Trauma is a lot of steps to remember, but less fast pace..

Delirium-Zer0 26th January 2006 08:15 PM

para para is based solely on hand motions, from what I gather. whatever body movements you happen to do along to para para are okay, that's your style, but the dance itself is para para when the only choreographed part is the hands. I think Trauma qualifies but there's choreographed body movement (turning, stepping back, etc) with independent.

Blasterion 30th January 2006 03:03 AM

yay! I love independent, it's such a good workout :D

LacusClyne 30th January 2006 04:58 AM

i mastered both ages ago. independent is a bit harder then trama, but compare to other dances that i had learnt, this two are very easy.

tomoko-stepyou 31st January 2006 09:15 PM

Yeah, trauma was easy to learn because I found a video of it being taught. I've seen one thing of independent being taught but the camera keeps moving. It does look alot harder though.

Little off topic but anyone have a video of this dance being taught or performed?
