Yea, I knew that when I got their Raw Treasures album. Ayu's version is a cover of their song.

I think Ayu's version is much better

In their wedsite, the NEWS section mentions their album will contain B&D, Pride, Ladies Night...and "Every Step"

"Every Step" composed by GEO is also given to ayu...so..."Evrey Step" will be one of ayu's new song???

Ayumi's "In The Corner" is a cover?? Don't the two songs just have the same music? The lyrics don't mean the same thing... :think

Sweetbox's lyrics are different to Ayu's, they just used the same music :)

sweetbox's version sounds abit sloppy... they might have intended it to be like that, but i like ayumi's version beter anyway...

so i think the right words is that sweetbox cover ayu song...because ayu release it first

But 'In The Corner' was done by Sweetbox for their the 'Jade' album in 2002 but didn't make the cut, it was then released on 'Raw Tresures Vol.1' in late 2005. Ayu's 'In The Corner' was released 1st January 2006.

So technically, Sweetbox were first in releasing it.

I prefer Ayumi's version. The Sweetbox version gives me a slightly 'off-key' feeling. I like it too though :)

Exactly, Jade even stated that in one of the tracks in Raw Treasures. In the Corner was an unreleased track that didn't make the cut for the Jade album in 2002.
