DVD Audio?

What is it? Is it an CD for CD player and on DvD Player there are the PVīs or what?

You can NOT play these discs on a CD player - everyone needs to understand that. However, with most avex releases (i'm only going off of the ayu, BoA, and m-flo DVD-As that I own) you can play them on a standard DVD player.

For releases that feature 5.1 mixes, you will need a DVD-Audio player - either one designed specifically for that purpose, or a DVD-Video player with that functionality built in. Even though most DVD-Video players can playback 5.1 mixes on movies you buy, they cannot do this for DVD-Audio unless designed for it, because it employs a different standard.

Please see the wikipedia article for a more in-depth and babbly explanation, if you want:

edit: Also, some cars such as the Acura TL and RL feature surround-sound DVD-Audio systems as standard equipment.

Which DVD Audio of Ayu does contain also the PVs?

Why do you want to buy the DVD Audio? You would just need the CD+DVD Version of a CD because I wouldn't be to sure that there are any PVs featured on a DVD Audio because a DVD Audio is not an ordinary DVD. It's just another standard of audio for DVD. DVD Audio is just the same as CD Audio: ONLY MUSIC... nothing more. BUT there are Hybrid DVDs with both and some of them can ONLY be played on special DVD-Players and some can be played on ordinary DVD-Players. BUT this is ALWAYS written in the description of the DVD!

The DVD Audio of MY STORY has the PVs included on the DVD of the CD+DVD release.

This would be a very good purchase if you want the PVs, because the release is region free, and a VIdeo/Audio hybrid, regardless of the kind of player you have.

But if there are also videos on it then it is NOT a DVD Audio but as you said a Hybrid...
But did not know that there were also Hydrid DVDs released by avex trax o_O
Thanks for this information.
I thought it were just DVD Audios and then the normal CD Audio plus a DVD Video :)
But as far as I know it is not so good to by the pure DVD Audio versions because there are only a few 5.1 mixes of the songs by now. Most of them still only habe 2.1 versions so a normal CD Audio would do it (of course a DVD Audio is a bit better in soundquality but too expensive).
