A small question about ayupan dolls

Why..and when did Ayupans start coming around.. Like why did they decide to make lil Ayu dolls..and any other information on them..thankies ^___^ |
The first Ayupans were sold at Arena Tour 2002 ;)

That'd be an awful lot of work for ANYONE to do, of course they're not handmade. She sorta designs them, i mean they're based on her... but i think she picks which outfits get turned into ayupans. I dunno WHY they first came around really. I don't think we ever got any info on that. Who knows? Maybe ayu just wanted little cartoon cute figures of her out there. Or maybe someone at axev just said "hey, here's an idea!" and the ayupan was born.

They probably thought: "hmmm. People will buy anything that is somehow related to Hamasaki, let us release toys that look like her, then make a cartoon out of it and sell hundreds of different ayupan-products!".... all money-making...but it's cool xD

It's just some big moneymaking Avex scheme. Of course it didn't stop me from buying a whole bunch. |

How many versions of Ayupan is released started year 2002? They even released limited Ayupans, and special versions for Christmas, so they must be a lot! I wonder if any Ayu fans had collected the whole set of Ayupan released...
