Nerina Pallot
 

Well, i've recently become interested in a female artist called Nerina Pallot after i caught her single "Everybody's gone to war" on tv here. I generally don't warm to english singers (the amount i listen to be countable on one hand) but something about her grabbed me.

She's a singer/songwriter and follows along the musical lines of such recent artists as KT Tunstall and James Blunt, just with a stronger pop feel to a lot of her stuff.

If you check out her site http://nerinapallot.com you can listen to her new album Fires for free, with scrolling lyrics to boot. I'd also recommend checking out the biography section as she's recorded a brief recap of her life which is quite actually quite funny, and she sounds veeeeery British.
