Has anybody heard any music from her? She was born March 11, 1984. She was scouted as a model at age 14 but started her music career in 2002 in the band spin aqua. She took a break from the band in 2003 because she was pregnant by her husband who was also a model. Not much was heard from her until August 2005 when she released her solo mini album: taste my beat. As far as acting is concerned, she's played in the movie Kamikaze Girls, among others.

I haven't heard much of her music, but I know her song ROSE is the opening for NANA, and since I've heard it, its been love at first sight.. :unsure: or hear..ing. yeah. so anyway, here's a clip of rose:

her single ROSE is supposed to be released june 28; and I'm interested! So if anybody knows any more info about her I'd really appreciate it! (I'll go on wiki a bit later, but I want your personal opinion too!) And if anybody knows where I can sample her music I'd REALLY appreciate it! :P

OOoh yes, HUGE fan! I have her mini album and if the b-sides of her singles aren't on the new album, i'll buy them too! She's really really cool, I think everyone should give her a chance.

I'm pretty intrigued by Anna. Somebody posted some of her music here (that was how I found out about her)...but she's pretty ubiquitous right now in Japan, too. I was kind of surprised when I first arrived....Anna appears as a model in a lot of the magazines here :yes I don't think her music is talked about as much, though...

SLAP THAT NAUGHTY BODY is a fun song, and some of the remixes are also pretty good :yes :D

I like how Anna is mixed.. Russian / Japanese :D She's purty. Her husband is a model guy, if you read on wikipedia, he's also a half Japanese.

I like ROSE, but i'm not so sure about her other songs..

I'm not quite too fond of the cover for ROSE.. but i like the one where she's wearing a lace glove :)

Someone posted her myspace link on JPM. I'm not sure if it's real. On the site it says she's divorced. Which I was suprised because she was married last time I heard.Link

Anyway I like her music. She's really pretty as well. I loved her personality on the VMAJ's.

I really like 'In My Hands' , the original version & the 'Norino Remix'.

I think she sings pretty much mostly in english & I think she has written the lyrics to most of her songs herself.

Anna has a lot of similarities to hitomi. both are models & really famous for being fashionable , write their own songs and they both have their own sub-label on Avex. Anna has 'Mad Pray Records' & hitomi has 'Love Life Records'.

i really like spin aqua a little more than her solo stuff. but she's really good. she's a really good actress as well. she's pretty when she makes herself out to be pretty. otherwise sometimes she looks trashy. but i really love her voice. all the photo's of her that were posted are so bad, let's look at pretty anna.

Yeah the pictures posted aren't her best. She looks really nice in those pictures. She photographs well.

Might be a weird question...but what is Anna's natural haircolor?

I wonder about that one .. Russian people hair color vary.. while Japanese is black :innocent

Anyway, I was surprised to see that she has a full length album out (as of yesterday)! I didn't even know of this....didn't see much promotion for it before I left Japan :( Still, I think that's pretty awesome that Anna finally has a full length album out...it was only a few singles/a mini-album/ and a remix album before right?

^Yup. She started off with a mini-album, then a single, then a remix album, then two more singles. (I'm pretty sure) I'm still waiting for the album to download. :cry *Curses dial-up*
