Strange request
 

Hi, I've just watched Glamorous Sky [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBubPxSW7fU ] by Mika Nakashima from NANA the MOVIE and I must say I'm so into her image there! Ehhm.. and now I have to explain (this is the most stupid part of my post) what I want:
I know there are many, many singers in our great Japan.. do you know any artists having such .. gothic (it's a gothic style, isn't it?) image and singin' such rock songs? I mean, female singers? (I will really, really appreciate this, believe me!)...

I know it's kinda silly request etc, but please help me :scry

Nanase Aikawa. Almost everything she puts out is Rock, and the ballads she does put out are full of an amazing amount of energy. Sadly, her music is hard to find. I posted all of her albums in Asian Media Downloads, but they all have expired. If you want to give her a try, I can upload you a few songs/albums.
There's also Mika's whole GLAMOROUS SKY album. It has a few more rock songs of that type in there. I can upload that on request, too.

In reference to your question, Try Olivia. And Kana. Although, to me Kana's voice is pretty irritating x_x;

High & Mighty Color has a female vocalist. But i don't know if she's really "gothic". But their music, i believe, is pretty rock-ish.

maybe Anna Tsuchiya too ? try watching her 'Rose' PV on youtube. it's on of the NANA anime theme songs.

Well, "GLAMOROUS SKY" is rock. The image is not really gothic, more "rocker".

If you want great rock songs: HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR.

Maki's style isn't exactly like Mika Nakashima from "NANA". Sometimes, she dresses kinda gothic lolita, but mainly, her style is more punkish. I think you'll love her voice. I think she got the best voice, plus she's just 18 years old! Probably 19 by now, lol.

Tommy heavenly6 got the "gothic" look and rock/punk sound.

I loved both of them from FATAL FRAME. They're great. However, they're not really heavy on the rock elements.

I recently listened to random songs from HIGH and MIGHTY COLOUR, and they're awesome so far! I love PRIDE ~HALS MIX 2005~ and Ichirin no Hana.

like i said these are just a few songs from tsukiko, and excuse me Koe is way more rocker than any mika nakashima song XD
