So what happens after A Ballads? Anyone have a clue on a new single or anything?

There's nothing on schedule yet...A BALLADS was just released so I think we'll have to wait for 2 weeks or more until we know about anything new. :) Anyway this thread will most probably be moved to the Ayumi Chat Room!

yes.. surprisingly... there's a large gap of release date between voyage and the upcoming single.... hope the new single will be released soon...

i heard a rumor that Ayuromix 3 is coming out in june but i don't think it was solid info. I hope they don't do anything from Rainbow she needs to MOVE ON!

It doesn't seem like there will be an Ayumix 5 this time since it would have been released already. Usually Ayumixes are released a few months after an album release but Avex possibly replaced a possible Ayumix release with A BALLADS. Not a smart move for people who are huge fans of the Ayumix releases.
If there is another single release soon, I'd expect it to come sometime between the end of April to the end of May with some sort of remix compilation in late June to late July. Ayu's styles have changed so much lately that I can't even begin to imagine how the next single will be. I have a feeling that it will be either a hard rock-driven song or an extremely mellow song similar to the slower songs on RAINBOW. Ayu's already sporting a new hairstyle so it will definately be interesting to see what kind of songs she has awaiting up her sleeve. |

Oh, I hope there will be an Ayu-mi-x V. It might come out this summer. It is still very soon after the release of "Rainbow," so I'm not giving up on the possibility. I honestly think the push for "A Ballads" was to get the song "Rainbow" out without having to recruit remixers for a long remix single. Still disappointed that we never saw a "Real Me" single. Boo. I guess up next will be another single. Frankly, though, I'm kinda suffering from Ayu OD, so I hope nothing new comes out for a while. My wallet has got to recover after buying recent Ayu albums and VCDs.
