Gackt announces intention to perform abroad
 

Apparently at the Japan Expo in France (where Anna Tschuchiya is performing), Gackt announced via video message that he plans to expand his activities into Europe and America. No date was given for when this will happen, but when Gackt plans on doing something, he does it. So this is very exciting news for those that have been waiting YEARS for something like this to even be mentioned. :) The full video hasn't come online yet other than a few screenshots, but it looks like it has been confirmed by multiple people that were there.

First Hyde and now this - we're on a role. Come on Ayu! :)

Unfortunately, I don't think we can expect our beloved Ayu to come abroad :no.

YEAH!! I was just talking about this to someone this morning that Gackt should come to America. This is great news! I would be so happy if I could go to one of his lives. Thanks for the info ^^

I hope he comes to the northwest! Portland would be ideal, but I doubt it.

Namie Amuro should come next :yes her english is near perfect, although I would be seeing BoA coming here first (though wikipedia states that her company(or someone) Boa has no plans for US debut). Great news though.

If he does it, he'd better do it soon.

Haha. That's really cool. I bet more people go see Gakuto than Haido. XD I know I'd rather go see Gakuto than Haido -- Gakuto has the best male voice in all of Japan. Haido's so whiney. As far as Ayu...XD We all know she probably won't ever come to the United States. avex would crap bricks if she came here, and then decided not to go back! XD That's what I heard -- they're afraid to let her come here because they think she'll want to stay and they'll lose her XD. So much for that. V_V

I think Gackt and Hyde both have excellent and actually very similar voices. I would say that Hyde has slightly more range though since Gackt has not used his falsetto much in quite a long time. Their both awesome though and often times it is hard to distinguish their voices apart on Orange no Taiyou.

Technically BoA has already performed here. Last year she performed about 5 songs at a Korean festival in LA (all of which were lip synched)

I'm like... wow.

I've loved Gackts music since 2001 and watching his concerts was the first times I truly enjoyed watching live performances. There's nothing, in my book, that can beat Gackts live voice.

Let's just hope he will go to Europe aswell, because going to the US from here cost about as much as going to Japan :D.

BoA first performed in the US in New York in 2002. I believe I was a sophomore in high school, and I was going to go down and see her, but I couldn't. :(
