Sayings I think Ayu might like...

"History is not a chronology of political or economic events; it is what happens in the souls of men, for good or evil, and only then is reflected in outward events."

- Seraphim Rose, 1934 - 1982

If you'd tell her that I think she'd go "huh?"...

Keep it simple, like "let's make a new single" or "let's make a new tour", I don't think she'd even understand "let's bring CREA back".

truehappiness 11th August 2006 10:19 AM

Well, not in English.

In Japanese.. maybe. Just look at her CDL speech O_O

immel 11th August 2006 10:20 AM

I meant mine as no matter which language you say it in.

Kodayumi 11th August 2006 10:20 AM

^^lol yea...so someone please transfer this in Japanese!! lol.=P

ayu1m 11th August 2006 11:00 AM

Was this so huge thing, that you had to make a new thread about it .. :e
And if you'd say that in english she probably wouldn't understand..

Kodayumi 11th August 2006 11:30 AM

Maybe he wants others to post sayings that others think that ayu might like.=P

Yukitora 11th August 2006 12:06 PM

I'd say things such as "the impact you've made on youths around the world by sharing you're expierences of your life are simply amazing. You made people happy when no one else would."

Or something :P Who would not like that said to them? XD

ayu1m 11th August 2006 12:09 PM

I think that's more down to earth kind of text and that is also true!
I bet she would start crying if someone said that to her ^^

micster 11th August 2006 12:17 PM

Maybe "My fans may not post spam on the internet that furate others"

Qt Mashi 11th August 2006 01:42 PM

"Ayu is the one and only <3"

Qt Mashi, 2006

Keishi 11th August 2006 04:09 PM

"Please don't compare me with Koda Kumi, Utada Hikaru, Namie Amuro, Ai Otsuka, YUI, BoA, Crystal Kay, Mika Nakashima, misono, Ito Yuna, hitomi, Sakamoto Maaya, & the list goes on."

I would probably say something like that to her...like, "You don't know how much of an influence you are on my life. I seriously would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for you."

aww!!! all the stuff that ayu's songs helped me get through...MEMORIES!!!! Now I'm getting all teary-eyed...:cry I swear, each one of her songs brings back a specific memory for me.

I would definitely tell her, "I am always singing A Song for XX deep in my heart."

Faramir 11th August 2006 07:42 PM

Forgive me, everyone; actually, what I meant by "Sayings I think Ayu might like" was quotes by other people, famous or not, that might be able to move or inspire Ayu because she might be able to relate to them or at least agree with them, and perhaps, help her in getting inspiration when writing new lyrics for her songs...or at least console her.

"At the time of acute self-consciousness at the birth of adulthood,
when the soul is still innocent and open, has not been hardened, and
the world is a big apple with possibilities that are seemingly
limitless, and relationships can seem to be so perfect and so easily
perfect, and the soul has been just awakened to the intense sense of
personhood, self-hood, and asks (for the first and sometimes only time
in one's life) the question of who he is and why he's here, the soul
is wide open and seeks to go beyond itself. The person feels deeply
and intensely, having not yet learned to block and hide these feelings
which later prove too painful, and he longs to share this feeling,
this self-awareness, this intensity, this pain with others, and to
feel what others feel, especially those who are going through the same
thing. Everything is poured out freely, sometimes too freely, and
there is no attempt to guard one's inner world from being trampled on.
The child who has never been hit by a car, if he is not told of the
dangers, will have no fear of walking into a busy street.

However, when the person gets older, as time passes, the perfect
"soul-mate" relationships which began so intensely, like a wondrous
blossoming flower, become disappointing because there was nothing
higher to hold them together; and the seemingly limitless
possibilities which present themselves in youth become smaller, one
possibility closing itself off after another once one goes further on
a certain path (for each person can only take one path at a time). And
then occurs what has formerly been feared and rejected - a layer forms
on top of the raw person, a protective coating; and it cannot be
helped, for pure vulnerability is too painful. All this explains why
the youth of today fear so much to get old, why they will do anything
to prevent it. Many young people, even if they have exposed themselves
to rottenness in their search for reality and intensity, if they get
out of it in time, are still good, innocent kids, because in a
backwards and self-contradictory way, they have been striving to
preserve innocence.

This also explains why the lyrics of many contemporary musicians, when
they are young and first start out, are so poignant and direct, while
later lyrics of the same people become increasingly obscure, to the
point that those listeners who have practically lived on the earlier
songs can get less and less from the later ones."

- an observation by someone from America

"I ain`t no Hollaback Girl"- Gwen Stefani
"This **** is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S"- Gwen Stefani
"Born to blossom bloom to perish"- Gwen Stefani
"Like an echo pedal you`re repeating yourself"- Gwen Stefani

Y`all know I had to put those quotes from Gwen Stefani.

Ayu_Fan_00, are you a Philadelphian? I wonder if you might like this song:

I wonder whether Ayu might like this song and its lyrics as well?

I don't understand where all this 'consoling' is coming from. There hasn't been anything in credible news indicating otherwise. This thread is very broad and I think sayings can apply to anyone. Depending on the response here, it may be wiser to switch this to General Chat for quotage (since this isn't quite Ayumi related)
