That's kinda odd. If western artists never chart on Oricon or generally on Japanese charts, why do they invite them to Music Station and such?... I still don't get the situation of western artists in Japan...

I just saw something about western artist in japan...they ar indeed very popular (gwen stefani, madonna red hot chilli peppers james blunt and so on) but i can´t tell why they aren´t on oricon...amy because its just fpr japanese artists?

Ive seen western artists on oricon before. They might not be there cos they do rubbbbiiish?

Wow thanks for the link! I didn't know what song she sang but I think it's great when Ayu meets other popular North American artists because then her ties with America will grow...possably more international stuff...?
