Ayu_Fan_00 3rd September 2006 12:26 AM

I have no idea. I want to know too. Also, would I have to write in Japanese?

Norrel 3rd September 2006 12:31 AM

She'd probably have a translator, and if not, find your own person to translate the English into Japanese.

Ayu_Fan_00 3rd September 2006 12:36 AM

So it`d be

Hamasaki Ayumi
Avex building 5th Floor
3-1-30 Minami-Aoyama Minato-ku
Tokyo-to 〒107-0062

Like that? Just making sure I write it right

Norrel 3rd September 2006 12:39 AM

Think so, there are probably other artist fan-mail on that floor, so if you her name on therem they'd know which one to send it to.

Would be weird if you wrote a mail to Ayu, but they send it to.. I don't know, BOA or Koda Kumi?

ayu1m 3rd September 2006 12:39 AM

Hmm.. sounds interesting, although I would like to know the expenses to send a letter this far :b

"Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response." that's pretty long ^^ but I still am going to think seriously about sending a letter :yes

Who knows if it would actually work?

micster 3rd September 2006 12:46 AM

The symbol before the zip code (107-0062) is just their symbol for their Post Office. Unlike addresses in the US/other countries, Japan (and maybe other Asian countries) write their addresses from zip code down (backwards for those who live in the US).

If you're sending any mail to Japan/to Ayu, you can write it in the Western way (Name first) and the letter should still get to her.

immel 4th September 2006 04:58 AM

The easiest way to contact her, I think, would be to sign up for TeamAyu, no?

Norrel! you got your kanji wrong! :P Tokyo-to is 東京都

Chibi_Venus 5th September 2006 12:03 AM

I remember hearing somewhere that it would take 9 months for a reply, BUT that could be for people that lives like 987430523.8 miles away from Japan (like me).
