A 'supposed' attendee at the Music Station recording[?] for 10/13 had this to say:

Running this through excite would show..
The new single might be a double a-side and the release date could be:
NOVEMBER 30th. AGAIN. (or maybe the 29th? :/)

This might spell out a late album.. or SOMETHING.. I don't know..

This still is NOT confirmed, so... don't take this as truth yet.
I don't even think it's true. I guess some sort of 'hope' is better than none, hm?

Looongggg way to go but pretty quick, eh? hope it's true.

If this is the date then I suspec they'll run the usual full promotion campaign like for every single this year... I think a "surprise" single, announced like 1 or 2 weeks before release would maybe be better, people would be surprised and lots of attention brought to it.

I suspect that a late January album will come.. or worse yet, a 1/1/07 release.. ><

This pattern is way too.. blaah.

The best would be that this is true and we will get it sometime this year.

I can deal with an 11/29 release as long as we don't see another release until early spring...

I hope Mika's new NANA single doesn't do too well [it only had 120k first week last year.. x.x]

A 1/1 release would be great, at least she'll have two weeks to get to #1. I don't want Ayu not get #1, it'll be a disaster.

That's a pretty interesting situation, I don't think she'd be ready to release an album early next year if this single comes at the end of november. I wouldn't expect an album in this case earlier than in March/April...

Well, look at No way to say and Bold & Delicious. Both came VERY close to the albums.

How much did NWTS sell? B&D sold really freakin' bad, not only because of the near album release though.

Then it probably doesn't have very much to do with the near-album-release that B&D sold so bad... people simply didn't like the style I guess.

No. I think that by the time that Bold and Delicious was released, everyone knew of the album that was coming, and people weren't exactly into buying it.

For NWTS, I think the album's announcement came a bit after No way to say came out.. instead of being announced BEFORE No way to say came out..
