I don't get why didn't Ayu sing the theme of this CM...

Anyway do any of you know who's the one that sings? I know that the song's called BREATHE, i guess... but who's the singer?

Wasn't that her cm? Maybe she didn't release a single during that time and she was still on contract to promote :shrug

i'm not sure, but i do know that there was another cm that she didn't sing in as well. seems like that other one had sarah mclachlan or someone singing in it?

I remember during that time I think it was around RAINBOW maybe... we all heard the new title song of the CM 'BREATH' and thought that was ayu's new song... until we heard the cm... many tears were shed.....

It happens pretty often that she's only featured as an actor in a CM, but not her song, or vice versa, that her song is featured, but not Ayu.

Nothing weird about it, maybe it's a bit more common to see both Ayu and her song in the same CM, I don't know.

This was Ayu's first Panasonic CM like, ever. So I think that they tried to steer away from using her own songs to see what would happen~

I thought that the Time to Say Goodbye CM just had Ayu say 'Panasonikku!' at the beginning..

Yup, I saw that one too, it was a VIERA CM and had sum swimmers (ELT "Swimmy" hehehe, Sorry, i'm promotin' ELT!)

My guess is that even though BREATH had the tie-up song they wanted a girl in CM, not two guys. So avex steered the 'acting' part of the contract to Ayu.
