voices in Memorial Address

im pretty sure most of you guys have heard it before:yes ,but in the begining of Memorial Address u can hear someone (a man) speeking in Japanese.im not sure if this has been a thread before, but i couldent find one.so myquestion is what is he saying, who is he,and why is it on the song??:P

Aisha_Angel 9th November 2006 01:11 AM

I've always wanted to know that was. I know he's mumbling something about an address but since I didn't buy the Memorial Address mini-album (it was before my time as an AYUfan) I really wouldn't know. >what I'm saying is maybe it's in the album credits for that particular song?

It's just one of the technicians, although exactly who, I'm not sure.

All he is saying is 「それでは皆さん、よろしくお願いします。」 "Sore de wa minna san, yoroshiku o-negai shimasu.". It's basically just something you say when you are introducing someone or being introduced. It's kind of like saying "Thank you" for something someone is about to do for you(in this case: listen to the song). It literally means something like "I wish for the best".

He's just on the recording to give it more of a studio feel, and to set this song apart from the rest of the album (because it is a bonus/title track).

I would guess it's one of the musicians rather.

It's a bit low. You need to turned up your volume a bit.

Or wait, did you buy the original album?

yup, i heard perfectly "sore de wa mina san, yoroshiku onegaishimasu"

i thought it means something like "okay, here we go (on the recording session), i hope everyone can do good" or sumthin like that (silly me)

just like girlish.. with all the talking.

Misa-chan 10th November 2006 02:17 AM

Probably to strengthen the fact that it's MA "take 2".

I always think that ayu broke down during take 1 and can't finish the song, that's why it's take 2 that's released. And the "wish for the best" is probably hoping that ayu will pull through this take fine.

It could be to the band, but the way "yoroshiku o-negai shimasu" is used, it makes more sense for it to be to the audience listening.

Check this out for a better idea of how it is used:
