Layouts temporarily disabled

All styles, except for the default, will be unavailable until further notice.

Joel 27th November 2006 02:24 AM

Don't want to be complaining or anything, but I'm just curious, wondering why?

Calico 27th November 2006 02:30 AM

^I'm assuming that it has to do with the slowness/lag, but I could be totally wrong. Anyway, I noticed this earlier, so thanks for the heads up. I figured they had been disabled, but all the same I'm glad to know it's not something wrong with my cookies or anything.

..:Hot:Like:Wow:.. 27th November 2006 02:33 AM

The standard layout still looks good, so I don't mind.

ohsixthirty 27th November 2006 02:42 AM

thanks for letting us know. i was afraid it was a problem on my end.

hope the layouts are back up eventually, i miss the kono omoi layout already.

alt.total-loser 27th November 2006 02:42 AM

I like this layout, actually, and don't mind~

Although when I first opened AHS I got freaked out 'cause it was all... different.

JaysenRyan 27th November 2006 03:27 AM

I miss my Rainbow layout, but This layout, though default, is pleasing to the eyes, and doesn't hurt to look at. Hope you guys can figure out all the bugs n issues easily so it doesn't make too much work for ya.

sexysaucestar 27th November 2006 03:53 AM

Without all the skins, the forum is running a little faster for me right now. This may be a good temporary move.

Mad_Cactuar 27th November 2006 04:51 AM

I like this layout almost as much as the Rainbow one. Like RXS said, it's pleasing to the eyes. I can't stand the Rain layout which made me frantically search for the layout buttons earlier.

LacusClyne 27th November 2006 04:59 AM

i still miss that 'forum jump' buton with is usually at the bottom of the page....

explodingbird 27th November 2006 05:20 AM

Aww, I was so used to the warmth of the Rain layout, but, hey, whatever makes the forum work.

Corybobory 27th November 2006 05:25 AM

'temporary' guys, 'temporary'.

Delirium-Zer0 27th November 2006 06:05 AM

It does seem to have definitely helped with the lag, so hopefully the staff are closer to finding the problem with this move. Ganbatte, staff! :)

Raleigh 27th November 2006 06:12 AM

Yeah now the forum is much faster. Seems a small price to pay. I won't mind till the problem is solved.

extepan 27th November 2006 06:51 AM

indeed the forum is faster. i dont really mind not having the previous layout. this layout is good too. i think we can have a vote to see if we should keep this default layout so that the forum will load faster?

Yup loading is faster and hence i dont have to double/triple post anymore

xiaou-xijiang 27th November 2006 10:15 AM

well, it didn't take me an hour to load the index page, so I'm not complaining. But it was quite a shock to not see my Retro layout...

Keishi 27th November 2006 10:55 AM

Considering the index page could be inaccessible (while subforums could be accessed without even opening the inaccessible index page), I think Forum Jump would be helpful. And all these times, I've been browsing subforums based on History. Just a suggestion though.

Anyway, I don't mind the layout. Hope you guys the best for the forum. :)

immel 27th November 2006 11:48 AM

I was like "huh?" when I saw this thread, as I was browsing it with my layout of choice still.

Then I remembered that it's the standard one.

Good move, it's definitely helping.

elepop 27th November 2006 01:09 PM

I don't mind it at all! It's actually a little faster now!
