No they're not, they're real... her legs look fat in the 2nd pic because she WAS alot fatter at the time (not FAT, but not really thin like she is now), and the angle is kinda up from near her head pointing slightly down, like alot of Red Carpet photos... that makes anyone's legs look stubby.
