Question about Ayu's sales
Where the people gets how many copies Ayumi's products (CD & DVD) sold a week??
|
ORICON reports the sales each week. :o
|
I supposed that but I can't find the page exactly :/
|
You need to subscribe to them in order to see the sales, depending on how much you pay you get more, or less, detailed information.
Supposedly you can get daily sales too, but that's only for the damn rich ones, aka the recording companies themselves (avex). |
^ You don't have to pay to see weekly sales.
www.oricon.co.jp, click the ranking button (in katakana), and then you'll be able to see weekly sales for CDs and DVDs (?). |
^That's the less detailed information immel was talking about.. You would have to subscribe to Oricon to get CD sales out of the TOP 30.
|
But what I was talking about doesn't required having subscribed at all. You just go to the website and look at the sales figures. I'm sure if you subscribe and pay, like immel said, you get more extended, broken down figures. But the VAST majority of the figures that people post as news are the weekly sales, and you don't have to be subscribed to find those on Oricon's site.

Or even simpler:
http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/ja/d/ - Album Daily Rankings http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/ja/w/ - Album Weekly Rankings / Sales http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/js/d/ - Single Daily Rankings http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/js/w/ - Single Weekly Rankings / Sales |
I've found it finally... 週間ランキング is where the sale numbers are at... I didn't know they don't post sales on daily ranking :P
