I Heard that one of thier members killed himself and some fans allso followed him to his death....

shinji1698 29th April 2003 02:45 AM

YEAH, whats his name.... Hide or Hyde. I think it was Hide. Well, he commited suicide and no one knows why, since there was no note or anything, and his closest friends and band members never saw it coming.

then at Hide's funeral, many of the fans also killed themselves. TYalk about dedication.. .:o

X Japan is a VERY popular jrock group. Their best songs are usually their ballads. Download Tears. I really like that song.:o

X-Japan rocks. give "Forever Love" a try too.

Super Ichiban 29th April 2003 06:35 AM

X Japan is my favorite rock group from Japan. "Art of Life" is still my favorite song of all time. It's 30 minutes long so I don't know if you have the patience to download something that long.

Some of the better ballads are "Crucify My Love", "Endless Rain", "Tears", "Longing", "The Last Song", and "Unfinished."

Some of the better fast songs are "Silent Jealousy", "Rusty Nail", "Dahlia", "X", and "Scars".

X japan? A group?? huh? tell me about them?

mimika 29th April 2003 07:01 AM

itz a jrock group, they were very popular in japan, and kinda like the leader in jrock

imagina12y 29th April 2003 09:14 AM

wow yeah...they're pretty old. really good stuff though! :thumbsup
i'd agree that the ballads are better, my friend was really into them, and his favorite song was crucify my love too :)

tinyppl 29th April 2003 12:09 PM

yeah their songs are great!! I really like 'crucify my love'

oh and about hide's death, some people said he killed himself accidentally. Coz at that time, there was one scene in the their coming concert which he had to 'fake' kill himself and ppl say that he was actually practising that scene when he was drunk and really accidentally killed himself! This is a rumour, though, we dunno what's true!

thank you for all your infos :) I'm really into forever love!! it's used for the X (Clamp) Movie too, isn't it?

I'm also a fan of X Japan too. Frankly speaking i like their Ballads most.

Hide is a GREAT GUITARIST i have to say. He can totally play in synchronised with his partner, Pata. Too bad he had passed away on 1998. Ok anyway just FYI, Hide will have his 5th year memorial on 2nd of May. Which is 2 days later from now.

Toshi, Hide, Pata, Yoshiki and Heath altogether really made a good band called X Japan.

I am too late, to realise their greatness. It's sad they had disbanded long before i knew them.

Nu-NRG 30th April 2003 07:50 PM

i love X Japan!!!!!!!!The first when i saw X JAPAN...............they look freaky to me
coz of their looks.......i mean back then in jrock, u'll see some really heavy makeups, creepy hairdoo and those ar probably a trademark or somethin to the jrocker or bandmembers in the old days..............yea......

and talkin bout Hide, try to find *ROCKET DIVE AND PINK SPIDER*

Grantith 30th April 2003 10:20 PM

The whole "visual band" thing is still very strange to me, but they do have good music and that's the more important than their ummm...........unique..........looks, :laugh

The X japan was known as the "sempai" of the current Visual Rock bands in Japan. The band vanished off the stage of their performance when one of the band member, Hide, commited suicide.

The Japanese even built a memorial museum in regard of the late member.

Japanese current Prime Minister Koizumi, admitted that he is a fan of the rock band.

Glay was somehow inspired by X Japan.

I have some of their songs, such as:

Forever Love
Crucify my love
art of life
endless rain
longing

xcalibre 3rd May 2003 11:04 AM

Yesterday 2ndMay2003 was Hideto's 5th Death Anniversary.

Observe 1 minutes of silence for the great one.

X-Japan Rules 1st April 2005 05:10 PM
