Which one of these would be the best to buy?

They are the same release, but differant versions? huge differance in prices too! Ones a VCD (what is this?) and the other 2 are DVD's! whats the differant between the two? and do all 3 versions contain the same things?

VCD are Video Cds...means worse quality, chinese subtitels and no menu....soudn is the same as DVD

DVD region 2 is from japan and playas on DVD player is japan and europe

dvd region3 comes from HK or Korea and plays on DVD player in other asian countries and PC all over the world...actually my dvd player here in germany also plays it...you can also burn it and it weill be region code free then....


the content is the same on all 3

Ahh i guess my A Museam is a VCD too, i wondered why there was no menu's i was dispointed!

Will the Region 3 have the same quality as Region 2? is so i may aswell get that been cheaper :D

region 2 is overseas and region 3 is Japan version
its exacly the same quality (some say it isn't, which is not true..maybe the paper smell better)

Exactly the other way round; Japan is region 2, Hong Kong (and pretty much the rest of Asia) is region 3.

Jordan, it doesn't matter much which DVD you buy (though obviously you should avoid the VCD for its horrid quality), but if you're going for the region 3 version make sure you have a region free DVD player. If you have a regular European DVD player that is not region free it will only play region 2 discs, and in that case you'll have to go for the (more expensive) Japanese DVD.

I hacked my DVD into Region Free so it should work! im just about to order :D

Im deffo staying away from VCD's after the 30th one i bought!

yeah stay away from vcds. the picture quality is visibly poorer

Keep in mind that not all DVD players have region-free hacks.

^yeah, I was disappointed when my DVD player wouldn't hack properly and I had to use a crappy ones. But there are some cheap region free DVD players via amazon. That's were I got mine for 29.99. Best buy I've made in a while. :)
