Who sounds best talking of those J-Pop stars?

Positively my favourite talking voice in Jpop is Ai Otsuka. It's hilarious.

I like Namie's the most out of all those, though.

Overall though, sifow. That's why I don't mind her singing. She sings like she talks and it's quite a relaxing voice.

I'm always amazed by how deep Ayu's voice is when she speaks.

It was between Ayu or Utada! Utada rocks too!

I ultimately chose Ayu, but here's what I think of each of their talking voices:

Ayu- Sounds much deeper than her singing voice, but still a cute voice that's pleasing to the ears.

Namie- I guess Namie's probably the most average voice in my opinion, so it really doesn't affect me more than any normal Japanese woman's voice would.

Hikki- She actually sounds somewhat awkward, certainly more so in English (not because of mispronunciation, but because she just speaks oddly). I don't know, she just kind of speaks in a strange, slow, manner even though we all know she speaks both languages flawlessly.

Kumi- Her voice kind of makes me laugh because she just speaks so incredibly fast all the time. My host parents said she has a really thick accent, but it just kind of sounds fast to me. She tends to go one minute from very low, and then she'll shift to very high screeches when she's excited.

Kumi! Her voice is vey cute and bubbly.

Hikki her voice is ok but I get this annoying feeling.

Namie sound a lil too deep

Ayu sounds like a lil kid

i like kumi's the best. not being biased or anything, but i honestly do. it's cute.

kuu's voice is so funny cuz it's so fast. like asdfkjwaefkjahfdlkjhdskdsadsadada.
ai otsuka's voice is funny cuz it's so deep, compared to her cute singing voice (sorta like ayu's, only hers is more mature than ai's)
utada sounds sorta awkward in english...in japanese, it's ok
haven't heard much of namie talking

It's between Utada and Namie.
Utada has a very soft voice while Namie sounds really mature.

Kuu's talking voice isn't nice at all. Her voice is super scratchy. Ayu is okay. Sort of low, sometimes high.

My favorite talking voice is Risa Niigaki from Morning Musume! Beautiful voice.

I vote for ayu, but there are other Jpop females that are far more pleasing to listen to, like matsuura aya, and especially Rina Aiuchi!

It's between Namie and Kuu for me.

I love Kuu's voice but, my god, I can't stand listening to her talk. She's a freaking motormouth! Except during her concerts. That I can handle, and she's nice to listen to then. But oh man...there have been a few episodes of music shows where I'll catch 1 or 2 words from her entire tirade. It's nuts. She needs to take it down a notch.

1. Kumi
I really love Kumi's voice when she speaks. She sounds so happy and naive :D It's fun to listen to her speak a lot too XD

2. Utada
I don't know. I find her voice very soothing for some reason, like she's always doped out of her head or something XD

3. Ayumi
Ayu sounds really fake when she talks. I hate how she puts on that super high pitched voice from time to time but when she speaks in a lower voice it's good to listen to :D

4. Naime
Sounds strange... 0_0

Ayu's voice is so kawaii to listen too and I love Kuu's voice - specially when she talks fast!! ^^

I chose Kuu.. she's always so enthusiastic!! ^^
And I love it when she goes all tonal.. She goes cutesy and stuff.. its so funny..
But she talks at like 139832573209583 km/hr...

Ayu - I dunno... Her voice sounds so monotous... She sounds really bored when she talks...
Utada - I've heard her only a few times... That was on that show with Beckham.. She was pretty cool... So #2 for me..
Namie - She sounds so bored all the time... And she looks it too...
