Satomi's music reminds me of traditional japanese music mixed with pop. that type of music is really popular in Japan, artists like Hajime Chitose sell a lot (for example, her single Wadatsu no Ki was 3rd most succcesful single in 2002, more succesful than all Ayu's 2002 singles except H), so I'm guessing Avex is expecting a success out of her.

for a ex-gravure idol I think she's sorta pretty (most gravure idols are fug imo) & sounds like she has some talents in singing. I'm looking forward to her debut :yes

Like I mentioned in the "Introducing..." thread, Satomi was originally supposed to release a cover of Yoshiyuki Ohsawa's "soshite boku wa tohou ni kureru" as her debut single, but it was canceled. However, she did perform it at last year's Rhythm Nation and I've uploaded the video to YouTube for you guys to enjoy.

If anyone wants the actual file let me know and I'll uploaded to YSI or whatever.
