CD authenticity?

I just need to if this is the wrong forum for this...

I recently looked through a bunch of my CD's and found a couple of Ayu... (yay me, I know hehe)

I ordered some over Ebay, and I KNOW they're fakes, so never mind that...

The thing is, a chinese friend (and it's here I get a little nervous) bought Memorial address for me some time ago - in China.

It looks real enough, has no engrish, is written in japanese and comes with the obi thingy (it's called that, right?! - the little paper thing on the 'end)

Is there any way to check if it's real or a copy?

I have the same problem with Ayu Trance 2 (which I bought myself in China)

This one is hard, as it has a little paplet from avex asia limited that you can fill out (in chinese ofcourse) and a pieces of paper from panasonic with it, aswell one where the lyrics are translated into chinese...

So, how to I check ... and is it even possible?

(oh, sorry for the language too - :/)

And also, you can always check if it's from "Avex Trax" or "Avex Asia".

If it's the Overseas ver. it should say that it's only for distribution in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. Several of my Ayu CDs have these on them but they are real.

The fakes I see here are always under "Ailon" or "Miya Records".

If you look under the disc under a light source, there should be a "IFPI" code in very fine print near the center. If there isn't one, chances are it may be a bootleg.

You can always post pictures on here.

This is the best solution. Since not all original version might be posted on the web.

Well....for me one thing that I can know exactly fake or real is that the central of the disc has bar code or no. If it has bar code, than that one is real if no...you know what the answer. And also the pictures booklet....!

Hmm, the CD-Rs and CD-RWs that I buy have barcodes, so I'm not sure how effective that method is.
