My post count is still 0??

I just registered here, but my post count is still at 0, even though I've posted at least five posts. Should I trying posting somewhere again to see if the message says, "Wait for a mod/admin's approval"?

^ your post count is now 7. congratulations. You also post 1.27 times per day. yipee.

sora2522 26th November 2007 05:08 AM

the only reason they need the approval is because they're afraid that you're like, some whacked-up old banned member. they used to not do this

Impracticable 26th November 2007 05:10 AM

Yeah. When my cousins signed up they were all like "WhY aReNt My PoStS sHoWiNg Up?"

Glad your post count isn't zero anymore. Good thing the moderators do this "method" now. *pushes away annoying old members with bouldozer* Mwahaha! :vevilol Totally kidding~~ (Goodness, now I'm hyper? I was just angry a minute ago. :idea PMS! XP XD)

By the way, welcome to AHS! ;) :shake

Oh gawd that annoyed me when I first joined AHS. It almost put me off it completely, and the mods or whatevs would take like 4 hours to confirm it.

Moderated posts were put in to prevent spammers/trolls from posting automatically.

Good to see that your post count is not 0 anymore--if you have any other questions regarding posts as a new member, please refer to this thread in the future.

Btw, hello to another NorCal initiate. :thumbsup

austin. ♥ 5th December 2007 11:20 PM

Can I ask how long new members are "moderated"? It felt like until 100 posts or something for me. I'm guessing it's until your 25th post when you change initiate for the first time. Or maybe it's simply a case of a mod saying "Hmmm, I know this guy isn't going to troll, I'll let him go" when they want to? And who exactly does "moderate" us? Which mod? All of them? Is one selected for you? Kinda feels like stalking, not knowing. :laugh

sexysaucestar 7th December 2007 05:28 AM

Generally after 5 posts new members go off of un-moderated status.

Corybobory 7th December 2007 05:31 AM

And as for 'which one'.... it's all of us :mischief

I already have more than 5 posts, but why are my posts still un-moderated?

EDIT: nevermind ^^

aikochan86 21st February 2008 12:52 AM

My posts seem to take about 10 hours to show up. I'm looking forward to post number 5!! :)
