ok, you kno that ayu-mi-x-4 CM where ayu is in those two traditional looking pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~. kimono things? where itz goin' round and round? ok, when she's wearing the black outfit, she has this black makeup stuff around one of her eyes... like eye shadow except in this flowery shape around her eye... what is that for in pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~. culture? just to be pretty or what? i'm just curious and i'd really like to kno... (i attached a pic of her)

it actually started in ancient China where young girls and fashionable women would make up patterns of small colourful flowers to be stuck to their faces (just like putting shinely shares on ur make-up nowadays), and it passed on to japan later...

ayu's flower drawn on her face is just a continuation of that

i showed it to my friends and we started to draw stuff around our eyes w/ makeup lol it was fun... and then we went to the grocery store to see if ppl would stare at us ^^ lol
