I had trouble with the Japanese encoding, so I had to take a screenshot of the lyrics.

Lilin also has unconfirmed reports that "Greatful days" is now being played on the radio in Japan. :)

By the way, "Greatful" isn't a word. :laugh

Wow, seems like this Lilin is really on top of things concearning "Greatful Days". First she show screencaps of the ending and provides a download for the ending, and now the lyrics. Unfortunetly, there are no english in this song :confused

EDIT// grantith, there seems to be a problem with thoes lyrics. i am romanising the first chorus ((the third stanza on the screen cap)) & there are many probles with it. hikari is wrtten wrong. the way it is written there says "hikari ri". also, where it says "hajimattei ku" it is supose to be "hajimatte yuku". where did you get this screen cap. from???? there where also some other problems. here is my romanization of the first chorus ((stanza 3 in grantith's screen capture - note, i was unable to romanize the first word, i cannot understand what ayu is saying in the song & the kanji are too small/blurry to read, so i will start on the 3rd character)):

natsu ga haji matte yuku
"kimi toikutsu no omoi desu kunou"
taiyou wa tada hikari kagaya ki nami wa itsumo yose te wa kaeshite ku

greatful.. heh.... let's just hope that not too many people will catch on and accuse Ayu of not being able to spell ^^;;

but judging from the mp3 clip, the song seems pretty nice... altho... a trance mix would be nice :D

i guess even though ayu spelled it wrong 'cus shez still learnin english, someone in her record company, ie avex, whoz responsible for the production or release of the song should have pointed that out...

i think the responsiblities lies more in the avex staff than ayu...since itz their duties to make sure these things are rite, at least they are paid to do that, while ayu whoz still learning english and is so busy might have overlooked it

first 2 kanji stanza 3 means "sun"

Maybe Ayu actually wanted it to be Great-ful Days. Maybe it gives an emphasis on the "great" part.

hikari can be written as a whole kanji or hika (as the same kanji) and ri as a separate hiragana



sorry i dun know the romanji for that...i know it means "sun" just 'cus i know chinese...so i understand the meaning for kanji..but don't know the romanji for kanji...

if therez any kanji that u dun know the meaning..i can tell u....but most probably i won't know their romanized form except for a few that i learn from ayu's lyrics

yeah...i do think that it's not a spelling error...maybe she wanted to point out something about greatness...and like loveppears...it's not an existing dictionary word..like we all know...she's unique...and always do and introduce something unique...btw...thncxz granth...

thats because hikaru is the verb form. hikari (meaning light) is the noun from hikaru. in this case kagayaku has been attached as an auxilary verb to hikaru.. this being doing by using the -masu form of a verb.. thats why it has the okurigana of ri after the kanji...

sometimes even though the hiragana form of iku is written the literary form "yuku" is still sung... its like when u sometimes hear them pronounce "wo" as either "wo" or "o"... by saying "wo" u can blend the notes together.. the same as if u say yuku instead of iku..

she probably is trying to come out with something unique but for seom reason Greatful doesnt seem as convincing as LOVEppears. i dont care if she cant spell because i see it every day. i didnt even notice it at first until Grantith pointed it out.
