"Track 00 - RAINBOW"
 

I was looking at album scans and noticed a version of RAINBOW that had the following tracklist:

What's going on here? Bootleg? Limited edition? I thought the song RAINBOW was only on A BALLADS.

EDIT: Just to avoid confusion, this was NOT the DVD-Audio version. It was a normal CD.

RAINBOW is only in A BALLADS and in the DVD Audio version of RAINBOW album.
That's not a bootleg, the 00 track is in the tracklist of every copy (I think).
The song wasn't finished at the time of the album release so Ayu invited fans to give ideas to the lyrics with a password inside the first press of the album, or something like that.

Initial pressings of the RAINBOW album came with the ability to access a website from where a person could hear a brief sample of the RAINBOW demo instrumental track. They were also able to submit their personal lyric ideas to Ayu. Ayu took her inspiration for the actual RAINBOW lyrics from these fan ideas.

i don't think they'd actually INCLUDE the track 00 on the tracklist though...

I've always been a little unsure about how many fan ideas were incorporated into the lyrics of "RAINBOW" - it seems to be a song very much about her deep inside and could also be a 'resolution' song like 'ever free'. But maybe the fans inspired her to say so..
