MV and PV difference?
 

Can anyone explain what the difference is between an MV and a PV? I thought a PV was just what the Japanese call a music video that'd you see on a TV show..eg. Evolution by Ayumi Hamasaki.

A music video and a promotional video are the same thing. The Japanese use "PV" but it means the same thing.

yup...... MV and PV refers to the same thing.. that's Japanese way of difference again.......

I call mine PV.

I have PV, TVB, Live, and BTS

PV - promotional
TVB - TV broadcast
Live - dead...
BTS - Behind the scenes aka making of the video.
