bout ayu concert's voice
 

the first time i saw CDL 06 07 is in oyutube
before it was released in her best album
and found she sang terribly!!
especially in the first note of evolution
and many many more
but when i saw again in a best2 dvd she sang quite good and not so bad as the first time i saw it
is ayu doing sth in her dvd so that the voice isn't bad as live?
i womnder if she remake most of her concert in dvd...

I don't think she remake her concert!

They improve the sound with some technique.

The sound quality on youtube isn't perfect, too.

They change the sound for the release od the DVD. if you want to hear it as it happened, then download the tv version. DVD version is more "hearable" imo, but it's not as genuine as the TV version.

^i think many people here has watched her concert live, and many people say that she sing very good...you can't judge her voice from youtube video, its really low quality video...
yes, i know that she will retouch her voice for dvd, but i think she can sing and have a great voice...

Technically they don't retouch it..

They have a technique where they make it so that the sound is in "perfect conditions" and not muddled up by overpowering background music and such. They balance out the music that's playing behind her with the vocals that she's singing.

You noticed this a lot in AT06 when the audio jumps up to a higher volume and then goes back down.. :O

Yea, people make it sound like they fix her voice for the dvd, which they don't .. but they change the sound levels of all of the sound sources, so it sounds better. The TV-version is live mixing, so it doesn't come out as well.

what do y'all mean by RETOUCH?

yeah i dont think the low quality in youtube makes ayu voice OUT OF TUNE

well the CDL in TV version use to sound ... mmm... "strange"
but in the DVD the quality is much better!
but obviously the YT quality of sound is terrible ¬¬

i don't know the reason for ayu sounding that much out of tune in CDL 0708. but she had better lives! i was spotting for flat/sharps in her ASIA TOUR last yr. yeah there were a few. but not too many till it became significant. i was surprised that ayu sounded very good in part of Me. it has a lot of high notes. :D

hmm.. some of them make the sound become lower...
