Do you care about Chart Rankings?
 

I think we have so many of these threads about sales and chart rankings of every new Ayumi CD Single and Album released.

That's okay, I know a lot of people care.
My question is, how many?

Do you care about sales or, if you're like me, do... you... not ... care.

I don't care. A couple of people were acting like the world was going to end when her streak was broken.

well...i care much more abt her well-being, her life and her songs...ranking all these dun really matter to me as long as i can enjoy her music :)

I enjoy discussing chart rankings, but if she doesn't get #1, I don't really care all that much.

Well yea, I'd say I care. It's nice to see her chart well, which she always does.

Should her sales one day go really way down but her music stay on the same level, I wouldn't run from her for that reason.

I care ALOT about the chart ^^ after all, chart makes music industry go around. if artist don't get charted, music company drops them. like ayu and nothing from nothing :( yea, that concept, so SUPPORT THE CHART!

I don't really care, but it'd be much nicer if she did rank high. I'd be a bit upset if she lost btoh her streaks, but still Ayu is still making music so I am happy =D

Of course I like it when she get's a #1, but I don't cry about it when she doesn't ¬.¬

In a way I care. It's not becuase I dont' enjoy her music as much if it ranks bad but:

- it's fun to celebrate a good ranking. And rank number 1 will ALWAYS be better than 2. It's just the way it is.

- If she starts ranking worse and worse it means fewer and fewer people find her merchandise worthwhile. That's sad because in the end it can lead to fewer releases. It already happened with ayu-mix and she releases fewer singles between albums as well.

No, I'm discussing about rankings and happy when ayu is ranked high but I'm not from the ones who die when she doesn't get #1.

but somehow, i mean i will still take note for her chart .. as nowadays many music company cares more on SALES than the ARTIST :irked
yeah as for the past ten years, ayu already did a very good job for herself already.. almost everytime get #1 in ... whatever music chart? lol. :tipsy
but i must agree is that her song and lyrics touches people heart, not her fame or what so ever thingy duhh.... :D ( AND HER HARDWORKING TOO ! )

I don't care too much, but it's always good to hope for her releases to be successful, because this is her career, and if she starts becoming unpopular, then her career is gone.

i'm here for the community and other things.. i like it when Ayu is successful but if she doesn't chart well, itz not gonna make me not like her

I do a little bit because I like to see she's still as succesful as ever :)

But really, as long as she keeps making great music, I'm all good.

I can care less about how she charts... she is still #1 to me!
