Sawajiri Erika now, what can you say?

It's kinda random but i've been really annoyed by people here in japan's view towards her. My mom even said, she changed a lot. Yeah, it's true that everyone matures. But, Erika changed almost everything about her specially her manners (as wht people say nowadays). I really love her as an artist and such a very talented girl. So guyz, what can you say 'bout her?

Huaka 2nd April 2008 08:58 AM

She's spoiled and quite the brat, but she's a great actress and a decent singer. I don't really care about her outside of her roles.

dddaiyamondo 2nd April 2008 10:28 AM

Has she really changed? How? I heard in the other thread she killed her own brother!!!

LacusClyne 2nd April 2008 11:03 AM

^that is just a stupid made up rumour, i doubt she will be that idiotic to do that

And that's why you aren't supposed to believe everything you hear on the internets. Let's get a reality check here.

The girl was extremely rude in that interview and I don't feel her apologies were very sincere. I think if she's changed at all (which may be an improvement over her fiercely negative attitude before), it's only because she wants to be continually successful, not because she actually gives a crap. But then again, I'm only going based off the way I've seen her act publicly. Who knows the way she really feels...

ayu-fan 2nd April 2008 12:19 PM

i heard rumor that she's been a ***** since 1 litre of tears era. so i think she didn't really change.

AyuGAME 2nd April 2008 12:29 PM

she can sing, she can act for sure...
but her manner and attitude is really something
and its ruin her image on my mind, i can't watch her dorama like i feel before...i feel that she really fake
i don't think she apologize for her attitude...

WillofDusk 2nd April 2008 12:41 PM

I still love her, her music and acting is fabulous, and I think it's ok being honest to her feelings and not pretending too much. I'm sure there are celebs that pretend to be nice while they are not.

I really hope she will release an album, I like her materials

If it's true then I really hate her!!

arisu_1love 2nd April 2008 01:36 PM

I think, with her talents which are basically undeniable, she should try to be at least more polite and well mannered. Then she'd be more liked.

prussian blue 2nd April 2008 01:38 PM

^ yeah...
i wonder why seh wants to do that...

LEOyumi 2nd April 2008 06:28 PM

I just loved how she acted in that TV show LOL Diva!

Halla 2nd April 2008 06:33 PM

I don't know, I don't really get the feeling that her popularity suffered because the incident of her being rude. I think she's actually more famous now.

She still has huge commercial endorsement deals & lots of job opportunities.

I think Erika has managed to set herself apart from the countless other Idols :yes

fanmail 2nd April 2008 08:12 PM

If she didn't act like such a ... snooty cow, I'd pay attention to her..

Xianghua 2nd April 2008 10:55 PM

I only heard that she was rude to the press... but can anyone fill me in on what else she did that put her in a scandal?

:roflmao

What a stupid and insensitive rumor! I mean, seriously, who would go around saying such a rumor. If anything, that person who started is immature and needs to just......ugh, I'll just leave it to that.

Anyway, I really don't know about her and the interview but all I know she an attitude or something. How the hell can someone get mad over that. They caught her on one of her bad days. If she apologized, then people should leave it at that. I agree with Halla. Her popularity doesn't seem like it suffered. If anything, it seems to have raisen especially if ot got people who didn't know nothing of her (points at self) to know about her. IMO, people who are constantly pissed at her about the interview are the ones who are making (MORE) popular. :mischief

So haters keep bring the hating to her! Please, keep makin' her popular. :shimmy

Erika is way too early in her career to exhibit snobby diva behavior (if she ever earns it, that is). Her singing is decent, depending on the song's composition; her voice definitely isn't anything special. Her acting is nowhere near amazing, but still enjoyable at times. In short, she needs to improve before thinking she can get away with things other idols can't.

Also, I highly doubt she is the ONLY idol ever caught on a bad day at a press conference. Everyone smiles and nods, even when they don't feel like it.

AyUta 3rd April 2008 03:57 AM

Poor Erika. I feel bad for her, even though she should have tried to at least be on her best behavior when she was irritated. I heard she was a depressed woman at the time and the media kept on bugging the hell out of her. Eventually, she snapped. Who wouldn't? The media is horrible. That's partly why I don't want to become a singer anywhere, the paprazzi follows and follows you, it's not fun. It makes me wonder how Ayu and Hikki go through all that x.x; But then again, she should have NOT acted that way.But at least she apologized to her fans and everyone whom it offended. It takes a lot to apologize. But all this still hasn't changed the way I look at her, she's still a great artist and actress.^^ Everyone has their ups and downs, and they just got her on one of her bads.

MeruChan 3rd April 2008 09:45 AM

Even Ayu doesn't behaves like that in front of the press..she has no excuse...she was just not professional or just craving for attention...or killing her career...but she IS such a talented actress and so pretty too! French + Japanese = GORGEOUS!
