What if a country singer did a cover of one of Ayu's songs?
 

For those who don't know country music, look up Diamond Rio or Dolly Parton... that's pure country music.

For those who DO know, as you and i know, a lot of country singers do a lot of covers of pop/rock songs, for example, 98 degree's "I Do (Cherish You)" and Martina McBride's cover of The Righteous Brother's "Unchained Melody". What if they made one out of one of Ayu's songs? Let's say... Endless Sorrow or... Dearest???

They'd sound pretty cool... hahahahhaha. What would you think? Also considering other songs?

I wouldn't mind Jewel doing Dearest, or even Carrie Underwood doing Moments, I think they would sound good.

I think it would be SO cool if Carrie Underwood did Dearest!!

Someone like Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood or even LeAnn Rimes would be great for an Ayu cover song. Moments, JEWEL, Dearest, Endless sorrow and fated come to mind for some good covers. :)

I have to really think about this and try to imagine Ayu's songs in a country style.

To be honest, at this moment, I can easily say it won't work. Country just does not equal Ayu. :P

I absolutely loathe country music, but bias aside, I just can't see Ayu songs in country format. Maybe Moments. Yes...Moments I can. Other than that I'd really have to think about it.

but then....i don't really care much for covers of ayu's songs anyway.

Well, it'd be great if Stephanie Sun/JJ Lin did a cover of an ayu song. It would sound weird, though. :P

I would love to hear carrie underwood do a cover of ayu's forgiveness..I think it would have a great end result..

I don't know much about Country music as I've never been interested in it!

Whenever someone talks about the genre I get the image of a guy in a cowboy hat with a HUGE Adam's Apple sitting on a hay bale surrounded by pigs and cows o_o; He has to sing in a stereotypical American twang as well :D

Sorry, but Ayu in that position would just be too WEIRD!! Although it would be funny to hear Ayu singing about 'cowpoke' and 'y'aaaaaawlllllllllll'.........and all those other cowboy phrases they used in old cartoons! ^^;

Not a big fan of country music myself. Im more of a Heavy Metal, Jpop fan( weird taste in music i know) If i had to pick something though. I would say leann rhymes in either Dearest, Or M.
