Thoughts on Cubic U / Precious
 

Hello all!

As some of you may already know I'm a MAJOR Hikki Fan, and only recently have I bought her first English album under the stage name Cubic U, Precious. I know it's an extremely old album, but I'm sure there are some major fans out there who have listened to this album. I was just curious to know what you guys think of the album, personally I like it, although most of the songs sound extremely alike. My favourite song on the album at the moment is 'Ticket for Two'

Okay enough about what I think, now its on to you, What do you all think of the album Precious by Cubic U (Utada Hikaru)?

BAM! "Ticket 4 Two" is my fav song on the album too!!!
You're right, some songs do sound sooo similar and honestly I find it to be not that strong of an album and DEFINITELY her worst album but it does have it's shines like Ticket 4 Two.

I also enjoyed Promise and How Ya Doin' :yes

I can't even remember how any of the songs sound (only close to you, because it's a cover and I know the original). Not that much appealing, I guess, though, maybe I should try to give it another try LOL

yeah its not terribly exciting or anything, although it makes for a pleasant enough listen.

and listening to the structure of the songs, its not hard to find similarities with her more recent work. in that way, i find it to be very interesting.

ad yeah, its pretty cute. ^_^

I really like it, it's the most R&B thing she's done.
