Ok, so I donät know if you all remember, but Ayu mentioned that Peco would have a smaller Live performance. I didnt even know that Peco actually did sing iutside from work with Ayu. So I was suprised when I found this vid of her singing on some show, I guess...

Hm, I never did like Peco or Princess. Though they do sound good with Ayu at the lead :D

Peco was originally a composer/singer before she became involved in stage managing and stuff. She even won a song-writing competition, winning 1st place! She still has her own performances every year or so of her own songs and stuff..

She's a good singer, and I think people seem to hate her due to her looks. Could be why she bowed out of being a singer, actually.

I've always been a Peco & Princess backer, even though most Ayu fans seem to hate them.

That video is interesting --- her voice reminds me a bit of the Russian (theatrical-pop) singer Alla Pugacheva for some reason.

Peco is a GREAT singer compared to Princess Yoko. But Peco needs a make over. She needs to do away with her big hair, flabby arms and big thighs imo.

The sound isn't good it's a shame! But her song sound great!

People don't hate her, people just don't care about people who lacks good looks. Most popular female singers everywhere have the good looks and people care about that initially. Of these people, many of them use the following logic without realizing it - she is hot, therefore the music is hot. Simple marketing strategy. The less criticisms to make about a singer, the better. Otherwise, people will emphasize the "bad points" especially when it comes to looks even though it has nothing to do with the music. Like the following...

thats the first time i've actually heard one of peco's songs...and i have to say, i really liked it. its too bad it seems like her album is no where to be found online, i'd love to actually have it.

When I first saw the clip I was actually blown away at how good she actually could sing!
I also started to wonder why sehe sounds so awful when singing with Ayu?
Why does she have to ''change'' her voice into a high ptch, and annoying voice?

I think that might be it. Though to be fair she doesn't seem to have much of a chance to show off what she CAN do, as it's mostly "whoa, yeah, ooh" and the like.
