Do you like the Music Video for Viva la Vida-Coldplay?
 

Pretty straight forward. I just saw this video right now...

Honestly...I was a little disappointed. I liked the Apple commercial better :laugh
To me, everything they tried to do, just came out kind of goofy.

I like it, but it could have been better

It's kinda boring. Like most other videos involving a band playing and singing.

BORING. I agree that the Apple CM was a much better promotional clip for the song.

No, and I don't like the song that much anymore either... it's overplayed.

It was an okay video. I also agree that the Apple commercial is much better.

I appreciate that it tries a unique visual style (kind of like the music video for Bonnie Pink's Ring a Bell) but the video was pretty boring overall. I still love the song though.

I can appreciate what they tried to do with their visual style... but I think they miserably failed at something could could have been amazing. It really has so much potential. The main things I didn't like in it is how they made Chris' eyes so much brighter than the rest of the color scheme, it looks unrealistic, they went Photoshop crazy on his eyes you could say. Then his... dancing... or what ever you want to call his body movements. Sometimes it made him look epileptic or just insane especially towards the end. Also, he looks too much like Doctor House in this PV.

I love the song though, just the video could have been better. xD

Considering the song lyrics makes me think of the Crusades, the video doesn't match. The bright colored eyes remind me later period paintings. The video matches the album cover. It's a bit disappointing.
Aren't the actor that plays House and the Coldplay singer both from England? They do look similar. Same hair color, eye color, skin color and similar facial hair. Wow way too much.

Wait, what? Am I missing something? Is that video supposed to have a storyline? :O It seems pretty random or just.. plain to me, but I haven't been like examining it or anything.

It did'nt do the song justice. Even the apple cm was more creative than it.... well, not creative, but it was delivered better.

I dunno its strange but i think i liked the apple one better.
