Most people probably know Kou from Battle Royale, but she became well known with the single "Tsuki no Shizuku" which was for the movie Yomigaeri.

i think on The Back Best "Chiisana Heya" was a new song, as in it wasn't on any of her albums/singles. It was a bonus track I think :yes

I never listened to her music :(

I did recently found out she's the main character in the Chakushin Ari (one missed call) movie! I love that movie so much! It's my favorite Japanese horror movie and I've seen it like 10 times already, it's awesome.

It really makes me wanna listen to her music.

I'm not fond of her KOH+ stuff, but her recent single was really good. And songs like Kage, Hito Koi Meguri and her first are some of my favourites.

Saiai is just an beautiful song, I can't stop listening to it. Kou always puts alot of emotion into her singing. I hope it does as good as KISS shite~

I LOVE Shibasaki Kou's first album, but I've only liked two or three songs she's put out since then. :(

I don't like KOH+ stuff but I like her other stuff :D especially 影(kage) and 眠レナイ夜ハ眠ラナイ夢ヲ (nemurenai yoru wa nemuranai yume wo). She has a very interesting style of music.

That's cool, but she didn't really "break" that record, right? I mean Ayu had #1 and #2, and Kou only had #1 and #3... So that's not really "breaking" it?
