How much does Nothing from Nothing usually cost?

I was looking around for Ayu things, and to my surprise I found Nothing from Nothing. I thought "Oh cool. Maybe I should buy it." Then I looked at the price and saw it was $200. :thud

So I was just wondering since it is very rare, is this the usual price for Nothing from Nothing? Or does it cost more usually?

Believe it or not that actually a reasonable price.I've usualy seen it for 500 dollars so yeah...:(

I got this a few years ago when i first became a fan of ayumi. I made the mistake of only selling it for $16!!! I didnt know how much it was worth, i was wondering why so many people wanted it..

On average I usually see the REAL album for about $300, and the REAL single for about $600.

The bootleg single (by Ho-Son; easy to spot because half the cover is red & it has ayu's full japanese name going down the side) goes for $10-15.

I always see it for $500, nothing less than that.

woah @_@ why is the single more expensive than the album though?

AyUta 16th October 2008 02:06 AM

I think she's talking about the album? The single would be less, but still very expensive since it's out of print and it's Ayu :laugh

No actually I always see the single for more. :P

I always just figured the single was rarer (plus, since the package is basically just paper, it's harder to keep it in good condition - the auctions I saw all pretty much were). Either that or people are more interested in buying the single because maybe they had the bootleg before and want the real thing as a replacement.

I DO see the album up for auction more often, which would lead me to believe that it is, in fact, slightly more common.

When you're dealing with items THIS rare, chances are the price is not at ALL going to be based on the actual content on the disc. The amount of music on the CD has absolutely no bearing on the price; just how rare it is & how popular the artist in question is.

Take Tori Amos for example. Her singles from the album "Y Kant Tori Read" only have 1-2 songs on them, but I've seen them go for thousands of dollars. The actual "Y Kant Tori Read" album, however, goes for $500 or less. Why? Because the singles are even more rare than the album. That's just how the market works.
