Danity Kane: America's New Morning Musume?

There's been some speculation that p diddy's gonna use the winners on the next making the band to be 'replacements' in Danity Kane...

Does anyone think that this'll be a new possible pattern for Danity Kane? The dismission and addition of members over time, I mean.

What do you think about it?

bondingo 20th October 2008 03:33 AM

That would be kind of cool if he did that, but Danity Kane will never be anything like Morning Musume. I don't see the number of members ever passing five, and I don't think people are just gonna leave and be replaced by new members every year or two. Plus, all the members of Danity Kane can sing. Morning Musume, not so much anymore...

well, like morning musume in terms of just removing/graduating and adding members P: ...Danity Kane surpasses MM in any form of talent anyday. P:

Haha, very true. But yeah, even in terms of rearranging I don't think DK will become the American MM. I think that if two new members are added, that it will stay with that formation until the band breaks up for good.

trannity kane is dead to me unless they bring aubrey back :(

ExodusUK 20th October 2008 01:53 PM

*gasp* They'll never be MM! They don't have the paedophile appeal.

drewbilation 20th October 2008 01:55 PM

no, the remaining girls have already said they don't want to add anymore members.

Strawberryfieldsforever 20th October 2008 02:26 PM

I always thought danity kane was a one person singer, not a band.

Ditto.

I had no idea until I looked up for their website online...

A lot of people I talk to always say the exact same thing:

"It's a GROUP?? Wth I thought it was one girl!?!" LOL

stardusties 20th October 2008 08:34 PM

^ LOL really? I thought their voices were plenty easy to differentiate. It is an odd group name though P:

when was this!?

drewbilation 20th October 2008 09:19 PM

on the finale, Shannon flat out said she didn't want anyone else in the group besides the five original members.

stardusties 21st October 2008 02:22 AM

Well, it's not Shannon's decision though since she doesn't have rights to the group?

Funny how you say that because that was the point of the group. To create one sound and one woman who is known as Danity Kane

All I have to say is, what kind of "band" lets someone who isn't part of the group kick out their members? This whole thing really makes DK look like a joke.

Oddly enough, I thought the same exact thing last night. But really, Diddy's their manager and owner and all that and has complete control over the group, so unfortunately they really had no say in it.

no, it's probably not, but I still don't see DK adding and graduating members on the same level as MM.

I think they'll either remain a trio, add the original two back, add a couple new girls or just completely disband.

babybunny 5th February 2009 08:01 AM

Nope

Solarblade 6th February 2009 01:16 PM

^Yea, it seems that the entire DK is now over....kind of sad to see them go

[taskin.ayu] 6th February 2009 01:20 PM

More like the Sugababes I think. xD They've had numerous changes and only still have one of the original members.
