She could definitely pass off as her grandmother, though. I see a lot of resemblances in smile, eyes, and even nose (sort of).

In the pictures I'v seen of AYu's mother she looks almost like her twin. She's very pretty and has the same beautiful eyes. IMO it's also one thing indicating that ayu's not a plastic surgery monster that some people seem think.. :dead2

there was a video where ayu went to smap x smap on her bday....and on it they showed her mom

it was quite some time ago...probably during seasons era..i have that video but not in my laptop

that's ayu and her mom...this woman definitely looks like the woman in the smap x smap video, which ayu confirmed in the video that that's her mom..so i'm 100% sure that that's ayu's mom with little ayu

some said that's ayu dad...but we never had official confirmation

yupyup that's ayu's mom..which is hte same woman as the pic i posted

in the vid you should hear ayu said 'mommy desu' to smap..and than the smap guys exclaimed that her mom is so young! ayu always call her mom 'mommy' instead of 'okaasan' which is mom in japanese....

i think ayu calls mika john 'mother' or something..just a name she used for her...but ayu's mom is always 'mommy'
