Confirmed: Ayu Will Attend 2008 59th kouhaku (2008.12.31)
 

大晦日恒例の『第59回ＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦』〔平成20年12月31日（水）午後7時20分～11時45分（ ニュース中断あり）総合・衛星ハイビジョン・衛星第2、ラジオ第1〕の出場歌手が決定した。

出場歌手は、紅白合わせて53組。

初出場は紅組が6組、白組が8組の合わせて14組。
これまでの対戦成績は、昨年の白組の勝利で、紅組28勝、白組30勝。

ＮＨＫは、前回の58回から来年の60回までの3か年で、『紅白』のリニューアルを進めている 。
その3年間のコンセプトワードは「歌力（うたぢから）」。歌の力を見直し、歌本来の魅力を伝えることを大き な目的としている。3か年の2年目にあたる今回は、「歌の力・ひとの絆(きずな)」をテーマに掲げる。世代 を超えて人々を結びつける歌の力を謳いあげる『紅白』を目指している。
今回ご出演いただく53組の歌手と司会陣が、今年のキャッチコピーである「いっしょに。紅白」の言葉どおり 、家族、恋人、友達といった「大切なひと」と“いっしょに”、心から楽しめる『紅白』を目指す 。

Why does many still think she will perform MW? Chances for that to happen are extremely low. Great to have Kouhaku confirmed, but with 3.5hours CDL it sure is going to be a busy night for Ayu (as always during new year). I expect her to be on very early this time.

Is Kouhaku like HEY!HEY!HEY or Music Station? Or is Kouhaku an award show? I mean if its just an award show, she might just attend and not perform.
