CDL 2002-2003
 

OKay, so I was just listening/watching CDL 2002-2003 for Heartplace.

During this performance... I first hear the background singers and I think... WHAT?!??! "We are free....."

They aren't Peco and Princess, are they?

... If they aren't.. people should stop complaining about Peco and Princess... The background singers for this CDL make Peco and Princess look really good. :thud

Ayu's never had good live background singers. These two at cdl 02-03 at least didn't do high-kicks (I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THAT) and do obnoxious, offkey, poorly controlled solos during their band intros. I mean yeah, peco & princess are bad choices vocally, but it's the amount of attention given to them that really make them obnoxious.

No, they are not Peco and Princess. They're a lot younger looking.

Also, I don't think Ayu really needs backup singers. They make things worst, especially when they all sing together. Eep! She's better off having some sort of back track.

I couldn't agree more with that. Their voices are always completely out of tune with the song. Just look at how they completely destroyed the openings of AT07 and AT08. :dead2

It seems that in some part of the song, they sing louder than Ayu!

I actually like the backgrounds xD If i want to listen just to Ayu, i listen to her recorded stuff, peco and princess are essential for every ayu live

Peco and Princess destroyed Decision chorus for me in CDL07-08 TV and they were cutted in DVD version))))))

well, i havent seen decision CDL07-08 tv version, but i really enjoyed the end of the dvd version of it(where ayu does this pv-singing-with-the-backing-singers-thing)

I never say CDL 2002-2003.... but.. I never thought, there can be Backgroundsingers, which are worse than Peco and Princess. Sure... Ayu needs some BG-Singers.. but she really should have better one.
I also thing, they really destroyed Desicion in CDL 07-08. They where cutted in the DVD-Version. Ahh.. good Idea!

Lol I thought they were Peco and Princess too at first. They look too young though. She introduced them as "Nishino Kaori" and "Kaeno(I think?) Yuriko". At least they look a lot younger than P & P, but very plain. In the end they don't fit as Ayu's chorus either haha. We need some nice pleasing-to-look at girls with good vocal talent around Ayu's age. That'd be really fun to see. I totally agree with what was said about Peco and Princess though lmao...those solos bother me very much.
