Ayumi's make-up
 

Hello :) I've been wondering about Ayu's make-up since it's so perfect! Yes, I know there are many people around her who are responsible for her perfect look. I'm more interested in her big eyes and 'softer' make-up. :mischief

Is there maybe any official source of what cosmetics Ayu uses? (From magazines and so). Or some tutorials? I'd like to see/read them. I find it disgusting when she puts a tone of make-u on, but I like when she emphasizes her round eyes :eyebrow

P.S. And yes, I went through older threads and advanced search. Even though AHS can't work properly nowadays, I guess I didn't miss anything :innocent

Hmm well if you can read Japanese, I would say they most likely would be in fashion magazines and there are a ton of scans on zyrex.

I can't read japanese :( that's why I asked :) I thought maybe there are some translations?:) Did Ayu ever say anything about her make-up?

Anyway, i saw some creepy putting make up on eyes in order to make them bigger o_o;; I'll never do that to my eyes >_>;

I asked what kind of makeup and skincare she used many years ago, before youtube and all that... I think now it should be easier to find this stuff out... she doesn't endorse any cosmetics brands anymore, like aube and visee, does she? They need to do one of those "look inside her makeup bag" features.. a real one! She discloses what brand her clothes are in those daily picture threads, and showed her scent is Coco Chanel...

But also, if you are trying to look as flawless as her - you'll need some photoshop and good lighting :)

You can find PLENTY of makeup tutorials on how to get the perfect natural look on YouTube and makeup forums. Ayu has the perfect team of makeup artists behind her so her makeup will end up being flawless. It looks natural but there are probably layers of concealer and foundation on her face lol.

If you want a natural look, make sure you have your perfect foundation formula and concealer for your skin tone and type.

Wash your face, moisturize, prime your face for foundation (Smashbox Photofinish, Bare Escentuals Prime Time etc) and apply your foundation. That's what I do and it covers up my imperfections completely. You can use concealer if you're worried about certain imperfections on your face. Apply some natural blush, line your eyes and apply a few coats of mascara and you should be good to go. You can apply some natural eyeshadow colors if you want to bring attention to your eyes.
