~previously unreleased version~

~previously unreleased version~
the other side ONE

What is it? Why is it called "previously unreleased version"? ;/

Just that -.-

AyuHamasaki01 29th January 2009 04:26 PM

I don't understand it ... :shrug What is this about? A song?

PinkShinigami 29th January 2009 05:10 PM

U-GO-BOY 29th January 2009 05:33 PM

because the remixes on these CD's weren't released previously~

PinkShinigami 29th January 2009 05:52 PM

Ey? Wierd O.o

But why isn't it included in the official discography?

AyUta 29th January 2009 06:15 PM

^ That is weird. I always wondered about this remix album.

Tom Punks 29th January 2009 07:24 PM

Isn't most stuff previously unreleased though? It's so strange to put that in the title.

noidea 29th January 2009 08:01 PM

previously unreleased in the title lets the sales increase and they know that

gothicayu 30th January 2009 07:55 AM

well surreeal season far away are the exact same as her released single so why put it with the unreleased stuff ?

Calico 30th January 2009 02:31 PM

^huh? They're all different remixes.

It's just remix singles featuring different remixes that were...well, previously unreleased at the time. They're mostly variations and dubs and instrumentals of other known remixes. It's mostly for collection purposes. They probably paid those remixers so much that they had to get their money back in product, so they made those singles with the leftover tracks they had.

gothicayu 30th January 2009 05:15 PM

i think those remixes were made for nightclubs and dj

GRACE 31st January 2009 05:21 AM

They're not particularly worth buying if you don't want them for collective purposes, I got Two and Four

TeeMo 31st January 2009 05:43 AM

Actually the true name of these singles are called "The other SIDE" I got all of them.

KPL 2nd February 2009 05:11 PM

They are truly great! I have all of them!

The ayu-mi-x III stuff, if my memory serves, includes

THE OTHER SIDE ONE-red-Hex Hector (Believe, the greatests of his works ever!)
THE OTHER SIDE TWO-blue-Junior Vasquez
THE OTHER SIDE THREE-yellow-Thunderpuss (the best of the four, imo)
THE OTHER SIDE FOUR-green-Ferry Coston, Vincent De Moor (avex at that time could afford Ferry for some volumes, how I miss those days... )

And if you also like to know something about excerpt from ayu-mi-x III, they are

CD001-orange-Hex Hector, Junkie XL
CD002-red-orb,Hybrid
CD003-blue-Mad Professor, Scanty Sandwich (the Mad Professor ones are way better than the recent HAPPY ENDING..And if you are seeking ayu in Hip Hop, Scanty Sandwich tracks are your choice.)
CD004-Thunderpuss, Club 69 (Addictive!)
CD005-green-Victor Caldrone, Keith Litman, Jonathan Peters
CD006-purple-Hex Hector, Jonathan Peters

So we can see that ayu's old remixes were EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The DJs and Producers were really talented and AVT were just generous enough.
Some of the above DJs are familiar names appearing on other western artists' albums, such as Whitney Houston, Madonna and Britney, but I even feel that the AYU tracks are more beautiful...~

Enjoy.
