Anyone here know roughly how many singles will Ayu realease before an album?
because like past albums,Ayu do put songs from her singles?

I don't know it's difficult to say . She used to be able to include like 5-6 singles before an album drops

after avex came in & changed marketing strageties , she was only able to include 3/4 singles in each album with Secret having the least no. of singles which's 2

A Song for XX - 5 Singles before
LOVEppears - 5 Singles before, 3 Re-cut singles
Duty - 3 Singles before, 2 Re-cut singles
I am... - 7 Singles before, 1 Re-cut single
RAINBOW - 3 Singles before
Memorial address - 3 Singles before
MY STORY - 3 Singles before
(miss)understood - 4 Singles before
Secret - 2 Singles before
GUILTY - 2 Singles before, 1 Digital Single

She basically went from "OMG YAY NEW STUFF" to "So, 5 more months eh?"

it seems with year they are trying to drop the album faster and faster with a lot less promotion for the songs

yea... thats soo annoying xD

but i think its better for her because she isn't that famous anymore, and with less singles its easier to hit the 1st place in sales :D

looks like avex changed the way they marketed her albums from RAINBOW onwards

I don't think that Ayu is not that "famous" any more, but not that selling well indeed!:D

yeah, sales of EVERYONE are dropping and she still gets number ones and sells very well in whole asia, her popularity is dropping, but not as much as people say

Her popularity may not be dropping that much at all either, less and less people are buying physical CDs anymore, or hell, even downloading legal downloads.

at least for the upcoming album, we can expect 3 singles with 6 songs!!!

Usually 2-3 singles. Her earlier days saw more because she was pressed to release one every two months or so. There were also some recut singles like AUDIENCE, kanariya, Daybreak, etc. Now with her being so big I bet her schedule is hectic. She has to balance out a lot of things.

I kinda prefer it this way because then the album is a "surprise" of sorts. I don't want to know what almost every song on the album is before it even comes out. :/
