To celebrate Ayu's 10th Anniversary, VIVI's 25th Anniversary, and 100 entries of Ayu's DejiDeji Diary (published in VIVI), a commemorative book was released compiling all of Ayu's entries from 001~102 and included new photoshoots and interviews.

Wow, the last thread passed 500 replies! Let's continue the discussions of the book including sales, media coverage, previews etc.

Has there been any reports of total sales for the book so far?

where exactly would we find out how sales are doing? i've checked around and can't find anything.

^ I dunno. I'm kinda hoping sales pop up somewhere =\ We know the initial print run was extended by something like 15k due to preorders taking up almost the entire original run, but we haven't heard squat about how many copies were actually sold.

In Australia, the weekend entertainment sections of newspapers usually print lists of new and best selling books with a tally on how many they've sold...I wonder if it's the same for Japan? >_<

I wish Oricon did book sales! They do everything else...

What does track book sales in general... I can't think of a site or organization that does off the top of my head.

I think I'm gonna email YA and CDJ to ask them how many copies they've sold. Wonder if they'll tell me? xD

If I don't get a response in a few days I might ask CDJ's manababy on her blog, she told me that they only had 72 FP USBs to sell, when we were all complaining they'd sold out, she seems very cool! xD

I pre-ordered on YesAsia about a week ago.

Will I get the first press? The description still says "B4-format" but it's searching from suppliers..

I really want B4 for 61$ >__>

This was fast: CDJ said they won't tell me how many copies they sold. Bah!

And inn other news, mine arrived today in a huge box! xDDD It's so awesome but won't fit into my scanner..... :(

I can see how they managed to fit so many diaries into 168 pages though, they've taken all of the text and images and rearranged them :) I'll still try to scan the new shoots at least but they will probably turn out horrible >_<;

I also got my USB FP and NL too! Mmmmmmmyaaah!

Keiichi: I think at this stage you'll still get FP. They made an extra 15k copies or something to boost the numbers available in stores. If you're anxious though, dora_ts7 has two copies for auction at about $59 each. The shipping will be a bit high but if you want it now.... =\

CDj had it short in stock again today, and there it also says b4, I guess YA should also have the b4 sized ones then.

I officially hate my scanner. I tried to hook it up to my laptop but it's an HP and requires installation of software. I tried to do it but something went wrong with my system32 files and the computer turned itself off lots of times o_O. I'm worried about my lappy so I don't think I'll be scanning them at home now.

Unfortunately the book is just a bit too big to fit in an A4 page scanner. At work I might be able to scan a few parts of the pages but to join the half-page scans together would be really hard and look awful. I think that for great scans we'll have to wait for someone with a professional equipment for scanning or the second pressing.... =\
