Most Poetic Lyrics?
 

My English class has an assignment to write a paper about the poetic merit of our favorite song lyrics. Of course, I wanted to choose an Ayu song, but I have no idea how to go about choosing! I'll be working with the English translations for meaning, and only looking at the Japanese for rhyme, cadence, etc.
So what are your suggestions? :) Please help!

My top 10, in no particular order. I think RAINBOW, Daybreak, and Moments will be very interesting to analyze and breathe life into.

Curtain Call may be hard, since repetitive stanzas may not provide you much, but that is the whole basis of the flow. If you can, that'll probably be a great song to do it on.

Connected is a poetic masterpiece.

duty: why:"Everyone is convinced
that that "thing" they're searching
for is in the future.

Moments: why: "If my life is transient like a flower
I'll be in full bloom by your side

Curtain call. The lyrics are simple yet poetic.

Agh, there are so many good choices! Honestly? I wish I could write papers analyzing all of them. For now, though, I think I'll go with Moments. Thank you all for the suggestions! :)
Now I'm curious to look up the lyrics for a lot of these, especially Connected. I love the lyrics of "Pride," but they seemed too straightforward for this project. Ayu writes such lovely lyrics!

I think Connected and Will are the only poetic-ish like songs.
