TEAM MESSAGE
 

Travelling around the internet I searched for TEAM MESSAGE in google just to chek if there was like an official site with the multiple logos ayu and her staff wear on their t-shirts on every encore but what I found by clicking on a link named TEAM MESSAGE was T-Shirts and stuff but I thought they had nothing to do with Ayu but even some designs are identical such as this one: http://www.team-message.com/shopdeta...125/brandname/


Is it a desing they adapted to Ayu from that brand or... is it that Ayu's designers have run out of creativity? Even the font for the page is similar to last tour's Team Message logo.

by the way....the clothes are truly EXPENSIVE!!!

I guess it's some kind of "promotion" to TeamMessage that Ayu is wearing it. Like MTRL

They are very very expensive to be only T-Shirts. I thought about the MTRL and now TEAM MESSAGE promotion too but then, shouldn't it be a known fact that ayumi is behind this brand?

Well, I found a link to an image of the 2006 T Shirt and it's identical! Excepto for the A logo.

I believe the designs that she uses are not really for her...she uses their designs and they make her custom shirts...

She is wearing THEIR brand. They use her symbols from her tours and stuff though and incorporate them into their brand name style thing. :shrug

O_o...Team message clothes are more expensive than Ayu Concert shirts..even though they have the same logo? :thud Its like 130 dollars for a plain Team Message shirt, but almost half of that for the same thing at a concert @__@. I wouldn't buy either, but interesting to know that even Team Message is an expensive company (suits Ayu =p)

I'm surprised that ayu's concert tees are cheaper than the Team Message ones. I'm guessing TM produces the specially designed shirts for ayu's concerts so it's like straight from a wholesaler, that's why it's cheaper whereas the prices on the website are manufacturer's suggested prices for retail outlets. My guess.

I think Ayu's concert T-shirts are cheaper mainly because of the fact that they're made to be mass produced in quantities upwards of like, 50,000-100,000+ given that Ayu has tons of tour stops and shows to at least 200-250k people a year..

This is compared to the boutique-ish way that TEAM MESSAGE probably does things. Clothes by most labels like TEAM MESSAGE or you could even say BAPE (obviously, TEAM MESSAGE isn't as high profile as BAPE) will have higher prices because they don't produce as many articles of clothing. I believe MTRLG was a bit of the same, just even moreso expensive. Womenswear seems to be very VERY expensive when it comes from a Japanese specialty label... and there are a lot of them too.

I don't believe Ayu's designers have any creative liberty when it comes to the articles of clothing that have the label's design on them. Usually she has them add her "A" on them, but that's about it.

^That makes a lot of sense plus the fact that all those shirts are of the same design and has a mass produced feel about it. So they just get ayu to endorse their label. I don't find the brand name anything to shout about though...
