Tasking and SCAR -- What's being said? ;D

The talk-y part in Tasking is fairly easy.

And in SCAR I mean the part that sounds like a...TV in the beginning. :P

waterballoon 19th May 2009 09:13 AM

tasking sounds like "You gotta put yours hand up"

And SCAR... I think Del-0 or another member explained that it's French for "The number cannot get through" or something.

zyoeru 19th May 2009 02:43 PM

Oh! It's in French? Haha. My French is rusty. But it DOES sound like a phone message. ;P

Edit: And Merci. :)

^ there is english too. first is french, then in english she says something like "the number you have dialed is not in service. please hang up and try your call again"

Hello! :)

I know what you mean - I posted something for SCAR too lol.

Here are the responses I got:

In french I'm pretty sure it's a similar "this number is no longer in service" error message.

"Le numéro que vous avez demandé n'est plus en service actuellement. Nous regrettons de ne pouvoir donner suite à votre appel".
The translation coud be:
"The number you have called is no longer in service. We are sorry for the inconvenience".
;)

The French part is first in SCAR, by the way.

oh yeah! i was shocked when i listened to SCAR the 1st time !
i shouted "Oh m*rde c'est du français !!" (~ Oh God it's in french !!)

i don't really know why this is in the song... does it allow to build up an atmosphere or sth ?

truehappiness 19th May 2009 09:41 PM

tasking's something like (in my eyes anyway):
"You got the reason/rhythm? (either would work) We got the rhythm."

dreamland2.0 19th May 2009 09:57 PM

^ That's actually kind of what I hear too :P

JackieRos 19th May 2009 10:13 PM

i se demande toujours quelle langue est-elle
i always wondered what language is it

merci
thanks

zyoeru 19th May 2009 10:42 PM

I wonder if the French is kind of like...relating to the lyrics.

Like...her relationship with the other person is like a phone which cannot contacted. :P

JackieRos 19th May 2009 11:20 PM

Je dois encore lire les paroles
I have yet to read the lyrics

chloeM 20th May 2009 06:51 AM

wow... meanings behind Tasking

Picaflor 7/4 20th May 2009 06:54 AM

in tasking, i always thought it was "we got the reason, we got the music."

The day that I first saw tears
I couldn't do anything.
I just gripped your hand.

Tired from crying, about to fall asleep
you turned to me and whispered,
"I'm sorry," and smiled a little.

That's what you were like.

The reason I couldn't even
say "goodbye" properly was that
I got the feeling that I'd
see you again. Or...

The day that I was first scolded
I was speechless. I just
hung my head in shame.

You turned your back
and left the room.
And made the same wounds in my heart.

That's what we were like.

They meet again somewhere today,
those two people who understand each other.
A tale of lost love
is repeated again.

The reason I couldn't even
say "goodbye" properly was that
I got the feeling that I'd see
you again. Or...

They meet again somewhere today,
those two people who understand each other.
A tale of lost love
is repeated again.

^ at the beginning, she tries contacting the person but fails and at the end shes sure she will be able to meet him/her again, makes sense with the phone massage

JackieRos 22nd May 2009 12:36 AM

Seriously: probably cuz Japanese fans have no idea what either language meant, they probably heard the French and (rather like me) assumed it was just English. xD
